About The Farm
Our mission at Positively Grown is to take the mystery out of your food. Know exactly where your food was raised, what the animals were fed, and ensure they lived a quality life with care and respect. Our small farm spans 130 acres where our animals and wildlife are free to roam and graze. We truly believe that nature does not try, she just does! And as humans we must do only what is needed to supplement the perfection this earth has already provided for us. Grow with us as we move towards building a regenerative farm and one-stop shop where you are Positive that your food was Grown and raised with care.
Meet the Farmers
Positively Grown is collectively run by Katie Miller and her family. Dairy Farming is not just a job to us, it is our way of life and has been for over 35 years. Together we make up the perfect definition of Family owned and operated. Follow us as we strive to keep the legacy of our little patch of heaven alive for years to come.
Supporting Your Health Journey
Life can get hard but eating healthy doesn't have to be! After a long day, the last thing you want to worry about is if you are truly feeding your family a nutritious diet. Of course we WANT to give our family the best but where do we even begin?
When it comes to food we believe less is more! We let nature do her thing with a gentle helping hand to raise products with less inputs. For centuries the earth has provided for us, long before pesticides, pasteurization, and preservatives.
Raw milk is one of the most nutrient-dense foods available, the pasteurization process destroys most of the living enzymes, probiotics, and beneficial bacteria making pasteurized milk difficult for our bodies to digest.
More and more people are realizing the benefits of home grown, home made, and raw unpasteurized products! Now the question remains in how do we obtain these kinds of resources without a farm or time of our own!? Well that's where we come in! Here at Positively Grown we want to take the mystery out of what is really in your food.
Our Practices
Our animals are on pasture as much as possible! We do not give them vaccines or growth hormones. If given antibiotics, it is absolutely necessary, and those animals are not milked with the rest of the herd, and their milk is not shared with our herdshare members.
Our milk is tested weekly and our equipment is sanitized 4 times per day. With such a small operation it is much easier to pay close attention to the details that really matter when it comes to providing your family with the highest quality products.
Now I know my family LOVES good food, and it tastes even better when you know you raised it yourself. When you become a member of Positively Grown that means you are now part of the family and we only want to give you the absolute best!
